Develop an engaging self-mailer, showcasing the story of the university in a unique and custom way while abiding all postal regulations.
A custom die-cut was developed over a three week period, allowing for the recipient to experience stories from university students as they unfolded the self-mailer. Hexagon design elements were used to reinforce the university branding at every touchpoint including the opening tab, background pattern and even the base form of the die-cut. While the production cost of the piece was 1.5x that of the average self-mailer used by the university, user testing found that the unique piece was able to increase donations by up to 500% than previous mailers used.
